Festive Wonder / CTS #90

Hello everyone! I'm back today to share this colorful Christmas card that I created for this weeks sketch challenge over at Cas(e) This Sketch. You can check out this weeks sketch below and all the challenge details HERE. I'm also submitting this for this weeks Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and Stacy's Holiday Cards & More Link Party over at Paper Crafts Connection.

To create this card I started by cutting a small square sheet of patterned paper from Echo Park's Season's Greetings Collection and attaching it to the bottom left of my card base. Then I stamped, paper pieced, and colored the cute little ornament from Hero Arts with some lime green stickles. While my ornament was drying off to the side I stamped the little tree branch onto some dark green cardstock and cut it out. After I had my little tree branch cut out and my ornament assembled I used a little piece of sliver thread and a small piece of wire to attach the ornament to the little tree branch. You can see a close up below! Thanks for visiting!

Let The Good Times Roll

Hello everyone! I'm back with my last Back To School themed 12 x12 layout. I've been using this fabulous Back To School collection from Close To My Heart called  Chalk It Up all month long. For todays layout I used a cute little sketch from Close To My Hearts Magic How To Program called Mesmerize. This two page sketch can be found on page 34, today I'm only using the left side of the pattern.

I used two different sheets of patterned paper and two different colored pieces of cardstock to create this one page layout. I just love the black sheet of patterned paper with the colorful letters. I wanted a fun sentiment to go along with this patterned paper so I pulled out this cute little vellum sentiment "Let The Good Times Roll" from a Die Cuts With A View vellum Home & Family Quote Stack. To go along with the colorful patterned paper, cardstock, and sentiment I added the chipboard bike to the bottom right, the "Real Sharp" arrow to the upper left of my 6 x 5 photo and the large journaling square to the upper right of my layout. I also added three Lagoon 3D star stickers and a bunch of Bitty Sparkles all around the chipboard bike. Check out a close up below!

If your still looking for some Back To School inspiration you can check out my first layout HERE, my second layout HERE, and my third layout HERE. Alica, Amy, Corene, and Jessi have all been sharing loads of Back To School themed layouts, cards, gift bags, Crush pages, and Project life layouts over at their blogs and Jessica's blog. Class Act

Hello everyone! I'm back with another Back To School themed 12 x12 layout. It's my third week creating with this super cute collection from Close To My Heart and I still can't get enough of it. For this layout I used a four photo pattern from Close To My Hearts Imagine How To Program. This is one of my favorite patterns from the book, it's called Sweet Symphony and can be found on page 24. This is a two page pattern but I'm just using the left side of the pattern for my layout today.

I used one side of patterned paper and three different colored pieces of cardstock to create my background. After I had all of my pieces adhered to my white page front I added four white pieces of cardstock ( these are where my photos will go ), some embellishments, some alphabet stickers, and some black paint splatters. I really love these fun shaped chipboard pieces and just love any kind of quote bubble with a fabulous sentiment in it.

To create my title I used a little 3D arrow sticker from the Chalk It Up Assortment sheet and some black alphabet stickers from Glitz Designs to spell out "Class Act". You can find a list of all the supplies I used below along with a few detailed photos of this collection. Thanks for visiting!

Love This Picture

Hello everyone! Last week I shared my very first two page layout using this fabulous new collection from Close To My Heart called Chalk It Up....it was so fun to create with. So I'm back today to share a fun one page layout using the very same collection. I started my one page layout by following one of the patterns from Close To My Hearts Reflections How To Program. The pattern I used is called Side Bar- Photo Focus and it can be found on page 47. Once I had which pattern I wanted to use for my layout things came together pretty quickly. That's whats so great about these How To Programs from Close To My Heart, they are super easy to use and their great for creating layouts ahead of time. I followed along with the pattern and got all of my patterned paper strips, cardstock strip, and 5 x 7 photo mats cut and attached to my page front. After I had my patterned paper and cardstock adhered to my page front I added some stamping and embellishments.

I added the large Love This Picture chipboard title to the left side of my layout with some white ribbon. Above is a close up. I just love this super cute chipboard piece and it matches perfectly with the sentiment strip I added to the patterned paper and cardstock!

I also added a chipboard star and some 3D heart stickers to the right side of my 5 x 7 photo mats. These little 3D stickers from the Chalk It Up Assortment sheet are so cute, I just love using them. You can see a picture of them below. Hope you enjoyed my layout and Thanks for visiting!

Chalk It Up 2 Page School Year Layout

Hello everyone! A few days ago I announced I would be joining Jessica's Craftin' & Stampin' Design Team!  Jessica is a consultant for Close To My Heart and has graciously shared some products with me to create with. So today I'm sharing my first two page layout I created with Close To My Hearts Chalk It Up Paper Pack & Chalk It Up Complements. For my two page layout I used a cute little sketch from Close To My Hearts Magic How To Program Book. The pattern I used is called Top Hat and can be found on page 114.

I started by creating my background with a 12 x 12 piece of Lagoon cardstock and then I added all of my patterned paper, photo mats, and embellishments to the page. This page has one large 5 x 7 photo and two smaller 3 1/2 x 5 photos. For my title I used the large Flaxen colored "School" Chipboard piece from the Chalk It Up Complements Chipboard Sheet.

For the second page of my layout I started with a 12 x 12 sheet of Flaxen cardstock and then I added my patterned paper, photo mats, and embellishments to the page. This page has one large 5 x 7 photo and one 5 x 3 1/2 photo. For the second part of my title I used the large Lagoon colored "Year" chipboard piece from the Chalk It Up Complements Chipboard Sheet. I also added a few other chipboard embellishments to both of my pages along with some stitching. You can check out a close up below. Super cute right? I hope you enjoyed my two page layout!
